A massive tank filled with syrup burst open in the city's North End, unleashing a wave of sticky sweetness that crashed through the streets like a tsunami. The flood, reaching heights 25 feet in some areas, was devastating. Homes and businesses crumbled under the force of the unstoppable goo.
